It seems like Spain has taken over Miami with "tapas" restaurants opening almost monthly but if you are still interested in looking for a new place with delicious tapas and sangria, I found it for you! Lizarran is a casual yet slightly upscale spanish chain restaurant now opening locations around Florida with its first one in Coral Gables. They have a good variety of tapas as well as "pinchos" which you can order individually for $2, these pinchos include tortilla de patata o jamon, croquetas (cod, cheese, ham & chicken), chistorra, jamon & manchego, pulpo a la gallega and more. They have live music on weekend nights. Service is friendly and prices are reasonable, so come on over to Lizarran and enjoy a small taste of Spain.
Located at 65 Alhambra Plaza. Lunch and dinner served Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. until 11 p.m.; Friday from 11 a.m. until 1 a.m.; Saturday from noon until 1 a.m. and Sunday from noon until 11 p.m.
